This truck got stucked somewhere along Kudirat Abiola way. It is unthinkable that the driver of the truck could tried to make a u-turn at this junction. Sanctions against reckless driver should be more stiffer for detterence. Only God knows what happened afterwards. I know there is no how this container will not fall off. Many people have lost their lives as a result of carefree attitude on the path of truck drivers. Those that are saddle with the responsibility of road safety should wake up to their responsibility. https://c.jumia.io/?a=28953&c=11&p=r&E=kkYNyk2M4sk%3D&utm_campaign=28953&s5=Larrybabanla |
Nonchalance caused this!
Fraudulent Professional.
Circumstances could drive people into crime.
It is rather unfortunate that people who are supposed to be professional are condescending so low and getting involve in an unholy act of fraud
When life throw you a lemon, make a lemonade.
Law will have to take it's course.
Why night journey is, ...................
FRSC has warned commuters to desist from travelling at night.
It is not likely everyone will listen to this counsel from FRSC.
Travelling at night to a large extent is risky.
The roads are deplorable, insecurity is another factor.
Armed robbers take advantage of darkness to unleash terror on hapless commuters.
It is wise to avoid night journey as much as possible.
Government may not be able to guarantee our safety, no one seems to be safe.
FLOOD INDUCED JAIL BREAK.
Heavy Flood has aided escape of some 34 inmates in a medium prison or if you like call it correctional facility.
The inmates took to their heels according to report reaching us after a wall came down due to heavy downpour that was followed by massive flood.
Those inmates may quickly concluded that God send the rain to free them from captivity.
Effort should be made to re-arrest them, it is a slap on our law if offenders escape justice.
Wall of correctional centers needs powerful reinforcement and there should not be a repeat of this scenario in any of our prison facilities.

Removal of former Kogi deputy governor questionable .
Simeon Achuba has a good case. The former deputy governor of Kogi state was illegally impeached .
The committee set up to investigate allegations of financial impropriety against him, find him not guilty.
How come he was still removed from the exalted office by the house of Assembly.
Remember Rasheed Ladoja had similar experience and he came out successfully.
Achuba should correct the anomalies for posterity.
What do you think?
A thief arrested by God.

Stealing directly from God, where is the fear of God?
He had the effrontery to break into the church and steal some valuables.
From the pastors comment, he steal from the church regularly.
God judgement surpass that of man.
What is your view?
Miracle or Magic?
Religion is the opium of the people.
Nigeria being a secular states allow individual to practise any type of religion they desire.
One of the videos going viral is that of a woman used by two pastors to perform the same miracle.
Issues of religion is very sensitive and it should be handle as such.
I know there is miracle and also there is magic.
Everyone may choose whom to fraternize with.
Miracle or magic, time will tell.
Dead body littering the road.
Call it a gory sight, you may not be farther from the truth.
The dead body of a man littering the road at a bus stop in Lagos shows utterly disregard for the dead.
How long does it take to evacuate a corpse lying on the road?
We all know health implications of decomposing body.
Government agencies in charge of environment should swing into action and do the needful.
Spate of Kidnapping, more worrisome.
Kidnappers are becoming more daring.Deputy commissioner of police was abducted some couple of days ago.
It is now the turn of Akure High Court Judge.
How secured are the common man?
What is the way forward?
Can we experience meaningful development in a country where insecurity is the order of the day.
Security agencies should buckle up and tackle insecurity headlong.
Kano Residents heave a sigh of relief as stray lion returned home.

The lion on the run at Zoological garden Kano has been captured.
Thank goodness! People can heave a sigh of relief.
It was reported that the animal resisted tranquilizer fired at it.
Rangers should be properly trained in order to avoid such a costly mistake in the future.

How swift is our emergency services?
Picture of a young man that slumped and died during a jogging exercise was taken some days ago. |
Response time was said to be slow.
How swift is our emergency services?
Government may needs to look into this area. It is no longer emergency if response time is above 10 minutes.
Call this number for any emergency in Lagos .767/112.

SEE HOW IMPORTED RICE IS BEING SMUGGLED.
Sequel to border closures and stringent measures put in place to restrict smuggling activities at the border.
Smugglers are die hard, they are not ready to give up.
Can you see how desperate people can be, this rice is poisonous.
May God help us.
LOCAL RICE BETTER THAN IMPORTED ?
It is our local rice, it is made in Nigeria.
Consumers complain that it is full of stone unlike imported rice.
There is restriction on importation of foods commodities such as rice and vegetable oil to boost local productions.
I doubt if government is going to open the border soonest. We have to get use to locally produce grains, stone notwithstanding.
But the price of made in Nigeria rice is not cheap, why?
It should be made available to all.
It is inconsistently inappropriate if the price of our local rice is beyond the reach of the masses.

BOKO HARAM SUFFERS ANOTHER DEFEAT.
Watch Video HERE.
NAF(Nigeria Air Force) fighter jets was seen in this video pounding hideout of insurgents. Many of them were extirpated.
We keep killing them, yet they keep increasing.I think we should be bothered about how idle youths are being recruited into this deadly group.
Government has spent and is still spending fortunes in fighting insurgency.
We should focus more on fighting their sponsors and cut every channel that link them to the outside world.
Kudos to men of Nigeria Air force that carried out this operation.
More excellent intelligence gathering will expose hideout of these enemies of states and our people shall be free soonest.

After Onitsha fire accident, traders count their losses.
Where do we go from here?
After a devastating fire accidents.
Everything they have worked for vanished in a jiffy.
What a great loss!
Now, what is next.
Will government come to their aids?
Have we thought about how to avert such occurrence in the future or is it not preventable?
It pains me to see how people source of income went in flame.
Something must be done.
Upsurge in Unemployment and the antidotes.
I am yet to come to terms with the information that more than 15 million Nigerians are looking for white collar jobs.
Unemployment level has become unprecedented.
The ripple effect of unemployment is seen in the upsurge in crime rates and other social vices.
Since government can not provide jobs for everyone, we should begin to encourage entrepreneurship.
Government officials should stop frustrating small business owners with obnoxious levies and taxes.
Developed countries of the world promote entrepreneurship and it is evident in their blossom economy.
We will be unable to fight crime effectively if standard of living is comatose.
An unemployed man is an hungry man, an hungry man is angry.
What do you think?
Arrested Yahooboys dream finally come true.
It is unprecedented. EFCC arrested 94 fraudster in one fell swoop.
The Yahooboyz as they are popularly called gathered to wine and dine before they were busted.
Some of these guys have lofty dreams of living in a big house, with big gate and guards watching over them.
Now that they have been arrested, their dream had finally come true.
If they are found guilty, they will have to do time.
A prison yard has a big gate and wall with many guards.
Effect of border closures on neighbouring country.
Benin Republic economy may have been badly affected with border closures,
It is not untrue that some fuel marketer smuggle pms into the neighbouring country.
Food produce such as tomatoes are rotten away as a result of border closures in Benin Republic.
It is a known truth that economy of some Africa countries are parasitic to ours
For us to be free as a country, we need to start consuming made in Nigeria products.
Government should give neighbouring country some stringent rules which they must
comply with before the border is re-open.
Question for Africa leader on Immigration.
Man is created to survive and dominate.
Anything that contest with our survival challenge our being.
Year in, year out, thousands of Africa migrants embark on a journey across the desert.
It is a journey many never lives to tell the story.
For those who were alive to tell the story, it is a story of pains and anguish.
It is a story of servitude and sexual molestation in the hands of their tormentors.
Why do people move in droves out of Africa?
Africa is bless.
Africa leaders should sincerely answer this question.
Food for Thought.
Should Nigeria scrap the Senate?
Nigeria may consider scrapping the Senate as suggested by leaders of thought.
Our democracy is the most expensive in the world.
The only way to reduce cost of governance is by asking 109 senators to go home.
Countries like Senegal and Italy have done it, we can borrow a leaf from them if truly we have developmental intentions.
What is your view?
Dino Meleaye and Appeal Court verdict.
"I just lost my election at the Appeal Court and Fresh election ordered. In all things, I give God the praise. He who started a good thing will definitely complete it. I ask my supporters to be law-abiding as we shall always overcome. To God be the Glory.”
These are the words of Senator Dino Meleaye after he was sacked by tribunal.
These are the words of Senator Dino Meleaye after he was sacked by tribunal.
Fresh election will be conducted, I hope it will be free and fair.Democracy is the government of the people by the people.
Nigeria election should always be free and fair, it is high time we stopped court from deciding who win or loose an election.
People should be able to decide who represent them, thuggery and brigandage should be alien to our democracy.

How to handle gas cylinder.
Good evening House.
Please with the rate we are having gas burns now. Let me drop this learnt from my days in quality management in Quick Service Resturants.
1, Camp gas is not for home cooking. Do not use it for cooking indoor. As the name implies they are used in open and well ventilated area.
2, Cylinder has expiring days of 15 years. Check your cylinder and add 15years to Date.
3, Do not shake to determine level but apply water on the cylinder body it will show you gas level.
4, Cylinder should be stored outside not inside. Even if you are living in a high raiser!
5, Have double control for your cylinder. They are safety checks.
6, Do not put on the gas before striking a match.
7. Do not switch on the kitchen light first thing on entrance. First throw open your windows and then Smell for gas leakage before flipping the switch.
8, No use of phones in the kitchen
9. When in doubt of leakage, place soap bubbles along the pipes it will indicate the presence or absence of leakage.
10, For those with dual functions. Do not use electricity and gas at the same time.
N/B on transportation: cylinders should be packed horizontally in a tight position to avoid rolling or movement due to bad roads. It can explode!
Be safe
(C) Yejide Wyse.
Sickening Traffic Logjam.
Torrential rain has come to expose bad state of our roads.
Our roads are terribly bad, because of the poor state of the roads, commuters are held in traffic logjam for hours.
Productive parts of our time are spent on the road.
Government should declare state of emergency on our roads.
Articulated vehicles are falling off, and agency in charge of road maintenance seems to be helpless.
Who is going to fix all these bad roads? Dividends of democracy should not be further delay.
No more cold room experience in our higher institutions .
Cold room is a preservative apartment where perishables are kept.
An effective coldroom temperature should be in the range of minus 20 degree centigrade.
It is ludicrous that the culprit in sex for admission saga refer to venue where they molest and harass young ladies as coldroom.
Many students have had this cold room experience.
They have suffered in silence, sexual harassment is rife in our community.
What I expect school authority to do is to probe further by setting up panel of enquiry.
Students should be encourage to bare it all, they should come out to expose all illicit affairs.
Enough of nonsense in our institutions of learning.
Coldroom is meant to preserve not the contrary.
Sex For Mark
They are suppose to be a father figure and not predators.
Lecturers are intellectual, they are are to role model their students into greatness.
Revelation from BBC is a pointer to the fact that some lecturers are incorrigible.
Undercover agents should do more to expose the bad eggs in our ivory tower.
What do you think?

Academic Corruption.
Academic corruption in our citadel of learning calls for attention.
Expository by a popular on-line media about how students paid into lecturers account in order to complete their final year project is condemnable.
According to the report, students plagiarized and lecturers are handsomely rewarded.
I hope EFCC will beam their search light on our institution of learning.
Little wonder some people believed our graduates are unemployable.
All the lecturers indicted in that report should be made to answer for allegation levelled against them.
If we don't fight corruption to a
Street sweepers killed by hit and Run Driver.
I once wrote about the danger street sweepers are expose to on daily basis.
A street sweeper was knocked down by hit and run driver into the lagoon. She died immediately after the accident.
Her body was retrieved after the third day of the accident, this is so pathetic and unfortunate.
Street sweepers are badly remunerated and there is no tangible insurance policy for them.
I Will like to appeal to the agency in charge of environment to be more humane.
Every jobs has one risk or another, but the risk of street cleaning could be minimized by their employers.

How Border Closures will affects sales of second hand clothes(Bend down boutique)
Okrika clothes or if you like call it second hand clothes, or bend down boutique. These are affordable clothes that is within the reach of common man.
Many Nigerians trades in this second hands clothes and they are smiling to the bank.
Now, the border closures will terribly affects their source of income.
Unfortunately we do not have viable alternative to second hands clothing.
Locally produce grains may eventually replace imported rice.
Government should encourage our Ibo brothers from the East.
Nigeria economy will bounce back again, do you know Nigeria Customs made 115 billion naira only in the month of September due to border closures?
Soore Bail Condition stringent?
Stringent bail condition you will say..
Omoyele Soore will be a free man as soon as the bail condition is met.
Government has alleged that he is planning to revolutionize and cause instability in the polity.
What government should do is to prove Soore wrong.
When standard of living is upgraded, there will be no need to talk tough.
If government could pay more attention to security of lives and property, life will be more meaningful.
Nigeria project is a big project, solution to our intractable challenges will not come on the platform of violence, it will only come on the platform of dialogue.
A whooping 100 million and some other conditions will have to be met before Soore will be allowed to go home.

Those women are paid off after they put to bed.
