Why banning GOKADA?

Why did government allow people to invest in bike hailing service when they know it will be proscribed?

Look at the number of people that will be out of jobs. We don't have to politicise everything, how many jobs has government provided in the last 5 years.

I understand the menace caused by undocumented bike operators, but we don't have to throw away the bath water and the baby.

What government should do is to further regulate their operations.

Accident and insecurity are two major reasons why government is taking this decision.

To reduce insecurity, only license and documented bike should be allowed to ply the highway.

Government policy should have human face and it should be balanced.

Has government thought about security implications of sending multitude out of jobs?

We have enough security issues to contend with, no one should add more.

Tithe and Offering.

Sometimes, I ponder about our existence as human and what is our primary objective of being here. Jesus Christ came with the message of salvation.

Salvation of our souls is the prequisite to seeing God. The gospel can be spread if children of God are willing to spend their resources to advance its course.

Bible teaches us to sow, he that sow bountifully shall reap bountifully and vice versa.

Should given now become the basis for entry heaven?

Tithing and offering is necessary, Is it mandatory?

I have two pastors that I admire and worship under them.They have divergent views on this issue.

Can someone tell me expressly that without paying tithe heaven is not in view?

Bans of Okada in Lagos.

I watched with amazement how three Okada riders ran away hurriedly from the hands of mobile policemen  from Lagos State Task Force that laid siege for them.

There had been clamp down on motorbikes operators in a bid to enforce traffic laws. Most of the impounded bikes are destroyed by the authority.

The attendant effect of this sanitation exercise may spell doom.Some of these operators who have been earning legitimate income may now be force to go the way of crime.


Should Lagos State government continue , many youths will add to already swell unemployed list.

One of the reasons why government is taking this initiatives is to reduce accident on our roads, also to bring to the barest minimum level of insecurity.

Government should not just ban Okada and go to sleep, they should also ensure everyone that this policy or law would affect negatively be catered for.

Job creations is sacrosanct, when people are engaged, crime rate will automatically dropped.

What is federal government doing about fixing power situations in our country.Some of these Okada riders are skilled in one trade or another, but because of erratic power supply they could not practice their trade.

So, government should wake up to his responsibility.

My take on Death Penalty passed on Maryam Sanda

Sometimes I don't agree with proponents of death penalty. She became hysterical after pronuncement of death sentence on her by the presiding judge. The story of Maryam Sanda is touching and one would have wished it never happened.

In a fit of anger, she lacerated the hubby with broken bottle, the outcome of the vicious attack sent the husband packing .

The husband is dead, if she is unlucky at both appellate and Supreme Court, she will face hangman noose

What would now be the fate of only child the union produced? Someday the story will be told to her how her mother killed the father and how government killed his mother.

Death penalty should be applied cautiously.I hope appellate court will overrule High Court and commute the sentence to jail terms.

A 14 year old Almajiri boy survival in an oven chamber must have been a miracle.

The allegation that he stole a loaf of bread made his boss kept him in an oven chamber as a punitive measure for detterence.

Thank God, he is alive to tell the story and the boss will be prosecuted.

Treatment of  children with disdain and violence should be discontinued .

If Some of the ill-gotten resources could be properly appropriated, life will be more meaningful for the masses.

Accountability, probity should be watch word of people that leads us.

Anti-corruption agencies should also be on top of their games.

Until we address the issue of corrupton and downplay money politics, our circumstances as a country may not likely change.

Abule Egba Fire explosion again !

Vandals at it again.

This is not the first time Abule Egba would be experiencing fire outbreak as a result of vandals activities.

Past explosions claimed many lives of both vandals and innocent people.

The questions begging for answer is this: Who are the people saddle with responsibility of protecting the pipelines?

Should we also conclude that because of poverty people could endanger their lives and others by blowing up the pipelines for economic reasons.

We can not continue to entertain vandals, they are enemies of the state and they have to be treated as such.

It was the First Lady that reprimanded Aso Rock clinic management for not having essential medical equipment and drugs.

This explains the reason why our leaders travel abroad for medicals.

It is pathetic and requires urgent attention.

Health care delivery is key.Life expectancy of average citizen who could not go abroad should improve.

Where is Club 360 in Ibadan? E.F.C.C operatives are working tirelessly to end financial crimes.

They swoop on clubbers and got many of them arrested. Financial crimes is rampant among youths that think the only way they could live large is by swindling innocent individuals who have succumb to their deceit.

Government inability to provide jobs for the teeming youths should not be enough justification why young schools leaver should engage in crime.

EFCC should frisk the culprits and bring those that are culpable to justice.

Future has disappear!

Our fore fathers worked very hard to build Nigeria.

They fought tooth and nails to position our country among comity of nations.

Once upon a time, there was a glowing future for citizenry.

Graduates find jobs easily, standard of educationon is very high.

Now, they said our graduates are unemployable.

There are no more jobs! Many factories due to unfavorable government policies are shutting down.

Where now is the future our ancestors work harder for?

Statistics has shown that at least 150million people are homeless worldwide.

Homelessness has been a long time problems and it is caused by many factors among which is poverty and mental health issues.

Government may solve the problem of homelessness by reducing poverty via job creations.

Mental health challenges also required immediate attention to be nip in the bud.

Affordable accommodation for all.

What is important to an average Nigerians is assurance that their security is guaranteed.

Tongue wagged after Bishop Oyedepo relieved some church officials of their duties for misappropriating some money.

Honestly, things have really gone bad. Those who kicked against their removal are not fair.

Should we encourage stealing because it is God money?

Some women could not stand their husband cheating on them.

Her approach to stopping the lady from seeing her husband may not deter her from seeing him.

Fighting in the public is a breach of law, any act  that disturb public peace is  punishable.

I think the woman whose husband was '' snatched" will need to undergo some courses on emotional intelligence.

I salute the calmness of the other woman.

Handlers of Bus Rapid Transport are thinking of increasing their fares.The arguments they advanced was based on high maintenance cost of their fleet.

A densely populated states like Lagos needs efficient and affordable transportation system.

The effect of the increase will impact negatively on Lagosians who uses this means of transportation, instinctively, yellow bus operators known as Danfo will have to double their fares also and this will make life more difficult for commuters.

Government should think largely of the poor before they formulate policies, government policies should not be anti-people.

Pastor OkikiJesu prophesied that the trio of Adeboye, Oyedepo and Kumuyi will not make heaven.

Could he have possibly hear from God? How can he convince us the message is from God? 

Bible admonish us to test every spirit. He also declared that they will die, that should not be a threat everybody will die someday.

But I ask myself, If such people will go to hell, who is now going to be in heaven.

I saw many people in their fifties moving hurriedly.You could see palpable seriousness in their bid to beat the time.

When CBN came out with policy about reduction in ATM charges from 65 naira to 35 naira, I expressed my doubt about enforcement of this policy.

One is not surprised that the status quo remain the same, nothing has changed.

CB N has the duty to regulates banks operations.

Now that banks have refused to comply, shouldn't they be sanctioned?
