MY Experience: Nigerians Are Not Lazy

Hard work does not kill, what really kill is poverty. There is a popular sayings that you do not escape hard work and at the same time escape poverty.

My trip to Lagos Island, Ebute Ero precisely speaks volume of how diligent Nigerians are.

It was a very busy atmosphere. Market women were busy with their customers, trucks conveying items were being off-loaded by able bodied men.

The "alabarus "  were  mixed grill of old women, girls, boys and young women.Everyone working very hard to make ends meets.

It underscore the point that Nigerians are not lazy people.

A young boy was seen in this video fending for himself, who says Nigerians are lazy?.

Kaduna Illegal Detention Home And Government..............

It is unthinkable that this "rehabilitation"  center has been in existence for the past 10 years. It is also difficult to believed that in the 21st century, people are still subjected  to life of servitude all in the name of religion and worship of  god.

More than 300 people are held incommunicado, some are chained and terribly dehumanized.

The question begging for an answer is that,    does it mean past administration are oblivious of this horror home, or they just decided to look away?

Many children and adult have gotten their destiny caged.

Law enforcement agencies should be proactive, there are still many illegal detention home that are yet to be uncovered.

It is high time they moved with speed and ensure crimes and criminal tendencies are nipped in the bud.
