Why did government allow people to invest in bike hailing service when they know it will be proscribed?
Look at the number of people that will be out of jobs. We don't have to politicise everything, how many jobs has government provided in the last 5 years.
I understand the menace caused by undocumented bike operators, but we don't have to throw away the bath water and the baby.
What government should do is to further regulate their operations.
Accident and insecurity are two major reasons why government is taking this decision.
To reduce insecurity, only license and documented bike should be allowed to ply the highway.
Government policy should have human face and it should be balanced.
Has government thought about security implications of sending multitude out of jobs?
We have enough security issues to contend with, no one should add more.
