Government Approach To Curb Prostitution .

Sequel to the raiding and arrest of some prostitute in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja .Some individual thought police authority is trampling upon the fundanmental human right of these  ladies.

Does Nigeria constitution allow pristitution? Those involve in the old trade of prostitution are somewhat misguided.

After the arrest, what follows. At the end of the day, if they are finally left off the hook they may likely return to their vomit.

Pell-mell approach is not the way out .Government should ensure those ladies acquire some skill sets that will take them off our brothels 

The unemployed among them should be given jobs, that is the way to go.

Yoruba Oba in Diaspora

The OluIgbo of Igbo Oba Akiruntan installation of diaspora Oba has been frown at.

Yoruba has a rich cultural heritage and there are tenets that is hold in high esteem.

Against all odds, Yorubas are now represented cuturally abroad.

Culturally it may be wrong, but economically will it impacts positively the lives of  Yoruba that lives  abroad.

Saudi Arabia government should spare the life of an innocent Zainab Aliyu who was a victim of circumstances.

She was arrested for being in possession of tramadol, an outlaw drugs in the Asia country. Not until recently that some unscrupulous drug cartel were arrested, the truth of the matter has been hidden.

The poor lady was set up with this hard drugs and the consequence of couriering hard drugs into Republic of Saudi Arabia is death.

Government of Nigeria should intervene, if possible they should repatriate those who planted the drugs inside her luggage to Saudi Arabia to face the music.

An innocent lady should not be killed for an offence she knows nothing about.

Every one with one voice should ask for her release from the dungeon.

Spate of kidnapping in our society needs to be urgently checked.History of  kidnapping  dated back to many years ago when Niger Delta militants kidnap expatriate that worked on the oil field.

The level of insecurity in the country is alarming, the more police spread their dragnet to bring offenders to book, the more they map out strategy to kidnap their next victims.

One of the effective way to curb kidnapping is provision of gainful employment to teeming unemployed idle youths.

Government should also ensure proliferation of small arms is look into, where are these hoodlums sourcing their arms and armaments?

Before our country become Banana Republic some measures needs to be taken.

Death Penalty A cruel Punishment ?

Death penalty has been in existence for a very long time.Some organisation such as AMNESTY international are clamouring for abolishment  of death penalty.

In the light of this, governors are admonish to commute death sentence to imprisonment.

Come to think of it, will death penalty reduce commission of heinous crime?

I think life in prison is a tougher punishment , the moment an offender is executed, the pain is gone. What do you think?

Pidgin English or Queens English

Medium of communication in Nigeria that is generally acceptable to all is English language.In other words English language is our lingua franca.

Recently, ACP Shogunle advised people to talk to our police in pidgin English .

Does that imply they can't comprehend or speak English language? The answer is no.

The truth of the matter is, they feel more comfortable if the medium of exhange is

Pidgin English.

Osun civil service and certificate forgers

They might have been putting pressure on the system. A civil service with personnel that are not qualify will reduce development and progress is likely to be slow 

Discovering of 768 civil servants with forged certificate in Osun state is a step in the right direction.

Who employed them? Government of course .Why is their certificate not verified at entry?

Some of the culprits must have spend more than a decade in the civil service .

It only means they have collected salary illegally for upward of ten years.

Thousands of qualified personnel are out there without jobs, yet we recruit hundreds of unqualified persons.

Now that chicken has come home to roost, they should be made to pay back all the salary they have collected and they should face the music in the court of law.

Electric vehicle , A pipe dream.

Vehicles will be power electronically, electrically enabled vehicle will in the future replace vehicle that uses petrol.

This vision may not be a reality in Nigeria .Senate is contemplating to junk the bill that will give preference to electric vehicle over vehicle powered by petrol.

Those that are against the bill are of the opinion that it will affect price of our crude oil.

We are not ripe enough as a country to ride electrically enable vehicle, until power problem is fix, this is going to be a pipe dream.

Five Man Robbery Gang Sentence To Death.

Five man robbery gang may have to face the hangman if their appeal failed.They were involved in violent robbery in U.A.E.

The five men are from Nigeria and they entered the country with visiting visa.What is more amazing is the dispensation of justice in the Arabia country.

Let every Nigerians in Diaspora who are criminally minded learn from these guys, not all that glitters is gold.

Government should provide jobs for teeming unemployed youths to reduce influx of our youths to foreign land where they think grass is greener.

Thirty thousands naira minimum wage will definitely renew the hope of civil servants in our country that better days are ahead.
Looking critically, Nigeria workers deserve more, but a journey of thousands miles begins with a step.


Government should not rest on their oars, life of citizenry should be better and standard of living should be worth while.

Ten solid years will be spent behind bars.Vandals caught in the act will be prosecuted without option of fine.
Activities of vandals is the bane of our development.
Government should ensure strict enforcement of this law to deter potential vandals
Community should come together and form neighborhood watch that will secure infrastructure and put vandals where they belong
Let us say no to any act of vandalism, Nigeria belong to all of us.

Clash of The Titans ;JAMB and WAEC

Two key examination body will have to ensure there is no repeat of time-table clashes as experience this year.

West Africa Examination Council should liase with JAMB in the future before examination time table is scheduled.

The clash in the time-table has robbed some students opportunity to write exams such as animal husbandry, plumbing and fittings etc.

Laxity should not be condone, life of our children is at stake.  

FRSC Vehicle in ruins.

FRSC team chased a vehicle that violated traffic rule and unexpected happened.

Lives were lost in the wreckage.The crux of the matter is that it is not necessary to run after traffic offenders.

Emulating the advanced countries of the world in traffic management will be a welcome development.

The educative arm of FRSC should re orientate their officers on how to track offenders .

Citizenship And Political Positions

 The issue of citizenship or indigeneship of an aspirants that is jostling for a political position should not be treated with kids gloves.

He is not a Nigerian, he is from Cameroon, bull shit .

It looks as if we are not being guided by our constitution, there are many incidencies of fraud, certificate forgery, falsification. of tax clearance certificate.

What then is the duty of INEC, they have the duty to verify aspirant certificate before they were fielded.

We keep going on and forth, for how long shall we continue like this.

Some governorship aspirants did not even qualify to contest, yet by stroke of luck they emerge. There will be massive infrastructure deficit if right people are not elected.

INEC should wake up to their respondubility.

Another fuel SCARCITY !

I am a bit disturbed seeing long queue in some filling stations, what is going on? For the first time in so many years we celebrated yuletide without fuel scarcity.

Nigeria is one of the largest producer of oil in the world, countries that depend on us for sustenance have abundant oil in their reserve.

It is unthinkable and un-hear off that we queue for long hours at the filling stations before our vehicle are filled up.

Government  should ensure availability of P.M.S, it is too early in the day for us to start experiencing fuel scarcity after  electoral promises were made for Nigerians during electioneering.

Whatever needs to be done should be done, we are tired of moving round a circle.
