No thanks to strange inferno that engulfed the whole market .The losses is unquantifiable and except government alleviates their pains, it will be a herculean task standing up again.
Building ultra modern market is not enough, do we have adequate fire fighting equipment and strategy in place.
Most of our markets are prone to fire accident
s, many markets have been destroyed in a raging inferno and we seems not to have learnt any lessons.
Government should ensure standard markets pass fire assessment test, some markets are not easily accessible in case of fire accidents.
It is high time we began to do things properly .
