Is Xmas celebration idolatry?

Xmas celebration has come and gone. While some churches rolled out drums to celebrate the joy of Xmas others felt it is not necessary.

Those that discounted the celebration believed Jesus was not born on the 25th Dec.

Some believe December 25th has linkage with celebration of idols.How true is this claim?

Both school of thought may be right or wrong.

God word says,  teach us to number our days that we apply our heart unto wisdom.

The debate may go on and on .One thing is sure Jesus was born on a particular day and he is still alive.
